BIO

Juliê Melo is an artist, art educator, architect and urban planner. Born in 1995, in João Pessoa/PB, she has been drawing since she was little and has always had art as a great influence and motivation.

The artist has a solo exhibition entitled "Eletricity", which took place at Usina Cultural Energisa in 2014. She participated in group exhibitions, such as the Salão de Artes Visuais at SESC and the Campus Festival 2014. In addition, she was a member of the Brazilianarte association, where he participated in the exhibition "No Limit Between Normal and Mental Disorder", at Galeria Louro&Canela in 2015.

Exploring other artistic languages, Juliê won the José Américo de Almeida literary competition in 2014, in the Romance category, and had his first book published. "A Menina dos Sapatos Cor de Abobora" is a children's book that deals with depression, friendships and discoveries, and was published by the publisher A União.

The themes of the artist's works are varied, as well as their style. Using techniques such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphite and ink, the name Juliê Melo is signed for versatility, feeling and expression.
